Warmer weather is slowly making an appearance across the country, which means summer pool and beach days are almost upon us. When I was pregnant, I splurged on a Hatch Collection bikini set because I was doing water aerobics three times per week and needed a swimsuit that grew with my bump. These days, however, I’ve been looking for things that can work with my postpartum body — translation: a swimsuit that’s supportive, comfortable and flattering. Enter, this Kona Sol swimsuit from Target that checks all of the boxes.

The Kona Sol one piece ($40 - $46) is an amazing swimsuit PERIOD, but especially for women who have recently (or ever) given birth. The scallop neckline adds some extra style, while the side ruching gives the suit a little extra stretch; something many moms appreciate as their body continues to change postpartum. Still, the suit doesn’t stretch to the point that it becomes too loose. The cups have padding to give extra bust support, and the straps can be easily adjusted for further support and a better fit.

The Kona Sol swimsuit is also a breastfeeding-friendly swimsuit, as the cups can be easily pulled to the side for easy breast access.

And though there is no need to look a certain way postpartum, several moms say the suit has a slimming effect that has helped them feel a little more confident.

"Absolutely LOVE this one piece! It’s so flattering. This is my first summer postpartum and I was so nervous about finding a swimsuit that would make me feel confident but this has delivered! I’m also large chested and feel it holds everything in really well and isn’t too low cut."

"I really love this bathing suit. The black makes me look slim and I feel confident wearing it. I like the coverage, I take mommy and me swim classes and I like to have a bathing suit that is practical. I got a medium (I’m 5’4, 140 lb, 36D)."

"I love the fit. I am somewhat smaller Chested and felt the top held everything in. It also had some tummy control that felt great for my post C-section body."

The expansive size range is impressive, too, with sizing going from XS to 24. But here’s the thing: sizes 18 to 24 are already sold out, and the navy blue option is no longer available in any size. So if you need a LBS (little black swimsuit) that’s perfect for moms, make sure to snag this before it’s out of stock completely.
